Alfred Lo
Alfred Lo founded Axle8, Australia’s first social platform for real-time geolocation messaging and discovery, in November 2009 and is its Chief Executive Officer. Before starting Axle8, Alfred ran water technology business Rainpure which won a number of international innovation awards and government grants. He led a team that commercialised Rainpure’s patented technology from concept to go-to-market launches in international markets including China, Japan and Europe.
Alfred has also worked in the advisory and eBusiness divisions of PricewaterhouseCoopers and EDS in Sydney, Shanghai and Seoul where he advised MNCs on e-enablement strategies. He studied Commerce at the University of New South Wales, has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) and is a CA.
