Lisa Andersen
Lisa Andersen has worked part-time at UTS Shopfront for more than a decade and manages communications and community relations for the program. She also runs the cross-faculty Community Research subject, supervises the student research series, and has contributed to or supervised more than 150 community projects; particularly in the areas of communications planning, campaigning and cultural and social research.
Lisa is also currently Manager and Senior Researcher for the Australian Research Council funded CAMRA Project: Cultural Asset Mapping for Planning and Development in Regional Australia, Manager of the New South Wales Empty Spaces Project and a PhD Candidate at the UTS Faculty of Arts and Social Social Sciences.
As an arts development and audience and market development specialist, Lisa has worked with a range of arts and community organisations, including the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Arts Festivals, the Sydney Opera House, the Byron Bay Writers Festival and the Red Cross.
Lisa is a Member of the UTS Research Centre for Creative Practice and Cultural Economy, a Director of Community Cultural Development NSW, sits on the Audience Development Steering Committee for Museums & Galleries NSW and is a member of Amnesty International.
