Mike Hanley is the Head of Content and Digital at the World Economic Forum, Geneva, Switzerland. He is a professional writer and journalist, and founding editor of Business21C. He has written for AFR Boss magazine and a clutch of other titles in Australia and overseas. He works with the Economist Intelligence Unit, and has a number of global corporate communications clients including Marsh, Swiss Re, the big four accountants, and consultants Towers Perrin.

He has written several books, including Crunch Time: how everyday life is killing the future and Can You Trust the Media? with Adrian Monck. He studied economics and philosophy at the London School of Economics, and has an MBA from the London Business School.
