Stephen Dyer has made coffee around Sydney for over ten years developing a taste for a good blend and a strong business practice. After seeing the world and furthering his life experience Detour Espresso Bar was created on William Street in Darlinghurst, Sydney. Coffee is the most important element at Detour, but an espresso bar should be more than just great coffee – it should be a ‘total café’ experience. Detour plays great tunes, has a simple but delicious menu and fun and friendly service. You won’t find coffee snobs at Detour but we do take our coffee seriously.
