Business21C magazine Spring 2010 launch

EVENT: Tuesday September 14 2010
MCA l Museum of Contemporary Art, 140 George Street - 6:00pm to 9:00pm

UTS Business has a lot to celebrate. In June, the University Council approved Frank Gehry’s concept design for the School’s new building. The building represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create a truly unique institution, one that is true to the vision developed through an extended collaborative conversation across the faculty and university over the past few years.

In the spring issue of Business21C magazine,  Dean Roy Green tells the story of the Gehry commission, from Frank’s first sms (“im up for it”) through the philosophy of the artist who is shaping the future of Australias largest business school.

Elsewhere in the magazine:

  • Australia’s leading health economist explains what the Federal health reforms are about, and why they’re not doing what they need to to ensure a healthy future for the country.
  • Professor Wanning Sun travels China, analysing the use of social media by the country’s itinerant population of 200 million.
  • The Head of the UN’s Green Economy Initiative values the world in dollar terms.
  • We see what’s happened to BP’s karma.

And a great deal more.

Join us for the launch of the second issue of Australia’s best business school journal on Tuesday September 14 at the Museum of Contemporary Art at 6pm.

Hear the stories from the author’s mouths (saves time on reading them later) enjoy Business21C’s hearty hospitality, and mingle with Sydney’s creative business class. Why wouldn’t you?
